Marin County is making important strides to codify and enact green practices at the county level and to be a node of sustainability education at the newly reinvented College of Marin. With legendary green architect Sim Van der Ryn, now director of the Center for Regenerative Design at the College of Marin, Andres Edwards, co-director of the center and author of The Sustainability Revolution: Portrait of a Paradigm Shift; Frances White, superintendent/president of the Marin Community College District; and Marin County Supervisor and longtime business leader and eco-activist, Charles McGlashan.
